Chris came to Dolphin in January 2011 as an insulation installer. He quickly moved his way up to crew lead managing a crew insulating up to 5 houses a week / 20 a month / 240 a year! When you work on this many homes you learn a lot about how they are built differently and where you need to insulate in order to get them airtight, while keeping health and safety a priority. After 5 years of working in the field he became one of our very own energy specialists, performing extensive energy assessments on residential and commercial buildings and creating prioritized plans to bring energy efficiency solutions.Chris is BPI certified by the Building Performance Institute, Cel-Pak Pro trained through a cellulose provider National Fiber, has completed boot camp for Insulation and Air Sealing at The Center for Ecological Technology, is lead safe certified, as well as Fall Protection, Respiratory, and First Aid trained. Recently he attended 475 High Performance Supply’s passive home training to extend his knowledge of vapor smart membranes and high performance insulation assemblies such as Intello and densepack cellulose. Chris has become a valuable asset to our company and our family and is somebody we can all depend on, especially homeowners that work with him. If you get an assessment done by Chris you are in good hands.
