Tiffany Alphen was recently elected to be one of the 6 Contractors in the Best Practices Group, to represent all of the contractors in the Mass Save program.

The Best Practices Group is a group of contractors elected by their peers, who meet with the lead vendors and Program Administrators (PAs) of the utilities, along with a representative from the DOER (Department of Energy Resources).

There are 10 contractors in the group: 6 IICs (Independent Insulation Contractor) and 4 HPCs (Home Performance Contractors assume all responsibility for audits) who bring different issues to the table. This is a great strategy for us, as Tiffany will be able to communicate and negotiate with the 2 big utilities (NSTAR and National Grid) on decisions that will affect Dolphin going forward.
